Clarke Telecom has developed a record and outstanding reputation for building sites of the highest quality – reflected in our customers’ own audit figures. By employing its own site build teams Clarke Telecom is able to guarantee the delivery of sites to exceptional quality and guaranteed timescales.

The construction teams are trained to undertake a wide range of activities on site. These include operating plant and machinery, fencing, concrete bases and earthing on greenfield sites; traffic management and NRSWA qualifications for streetworks sites; and specialist rope access for rooftop sites. These multi-skilled teams eliminate the need for expensive multiple visits by individuals to perform specific tasks enabling Clarke Telecom to pass on cost savings to the client.

To date, Clarke Telecom have completed over 2100 macro sites across all UK mobile operators. Clarke Telecom offer proven capabilities in telecom construction for the following applications:-

 

ROOFTOPS

Extensive experience in the construction of rooftop cell sites including unusual and difficult installations to fulfil the customer and/or local planning authority requirements.

Sites range from simple flat-roof installations, through to complex stadia structures and eve-mounted poles. Arrange weekend and overnight working to minimise disruption to building occupants, or permissible road closure windows for crane lifts.

 

BROWNFIELD/GREENFIELD

Utilising land that has seen industrial activity or with no previous development, monopole or lattice tower configurations can be constructed to networks and landowner specifications….. hand build sites for difficult access sites. Minimimal disruption during construction works and reinstate to previous conditions. Helicopter lift.

 

STEALTH SITES

When discrete, unobtrusive or even camouflaged installations are required Clarke Telecom have specialised in mast constructions that compliment and blend into their industrial or natural environment with minimal impact to the surrounding area.

We have deployed tree structures, flagpoles, telegraph poles and GRP shrouded installations.

 

STREETWORKS

Installations of this nature are smaller, simplified single pole cell sites situated alongside roadways to enhance coverage for 2/3G network operators. We are currently a preferred streetworks contractors to two UK networks. We have managed, designed and built streetworks sites from Inverness to Plymouth. By having an in depth knowledge and proven capability in each and every part of a streetworks design and build we can provide a quicker turn around from design to integration, thus providing cost savings and allowing sites to reach on air status in reduced program times.

Staff at all levels have the mandatory training and accreditation required in order to carry out their duties including compliance to enable works under the NRSWA.
